The Charter of boats and catamarans in Greece is available on the website by entering the destination Greece, or the individual departure bases that you find in the destinations menu item; under each base, you will find Yachts in Greece sorted by port, available online. Cyclades islands The best-known area, with a base in Athens or Alimos marina, and from the adjacent ports, offers the opportunity to experience the boat holiday in the Cyclades islands, an archipelago full of bays and interesting landings points to explore, including the famous Mykonos and Santorini islands. The characteristic of these islands, thanks to their low latitude, is the wide season, since already from April and until September, the climate is hot. In the months of late June, July and August a strong wind called Melteni will make your sailing sportier, or force you to shelter, if greater than 30 knots; this expected windiness is not always present but in the months mentioned it has an excellent chance of being present for three consecutive days. Visit our offer of Boat Charter and Charter Catamaran in the Cyclades archipelago zone Ionian Islands The Ionian Islands are located in the west coast of Greece, and are reachable both by ferry from Italy, Bari and Brindisi to Igoumenitsa and by air flight on the airports of Corfu and Preveza. The navigation areas are Corfu, Paxos and Antipaxos starting from Corfu, and further south the islands of Lefkas, Kefalonia, Itaka and Zante, starting from Lefkas or Preveza. In this area during the summer daytime breezes prevail even up to 25/30 knots, very interesting for the sailor, and sheltered night bays protected without wind at night. Visit our offer of Sailboat for Charter and Charter Catamaran in the Ionians area Sporades Islands The Sporades islands are located to the east, based in the city of Volos or departing from Skiatos, reachable by plane or ferry. The main islands are Skiatos and Skopelos; they are very fascinating and certainly suitable for the navigator who has already explored the main destinations in Greece, or for those who want to choose a less known but more particular area and with a certainly splendid and crystalline sea. The three peninsular arms and the 2 gulfs they generate in the area south of Thessaloniki also offer a rare and pleasant paradise for exploring new areas of Greece. Visit our offer of Yacht Charter and Charter Catamaran in the Sporades area. Dodecanese Islands In this area are present all the islands north of Rhodes, where the central island of Kos is present, and other smaller islands, all very interesting for the number of bays and places to visit. Visit our offer of Charter Boat and Charter Catamaran in the Dodecanese area. In order to better view the boats and catamarans for hire in Greece on the Charteritaly platform, we suggest you also enter the individual ports and departure bases of the fleets in the search form, in order to be able to circumscribe the area you want from the whole country

The bays and ports, especially the most recent ones, have services and berths useful for hosting numerous fleets of charter boatsin the points of greatest interest.

Anyway, coming in Italydoes not just mean visiting the sea, once you arrive in Italy, you can combine a boat holiday with a visit in one of the most popular destinations for millenary history, culture, civilizations to discover and attractions to visit even by land.

On each major island, you can combine a Yacht cruise with a visit to the hinterland.

Which areas and zone must visit in Italy?

Sicily, a hodgepodge of cultures for thousands of years, preserves historical sites from Roman times to the Baroque Époque.

Sardinia, from the primitive era, with its Nuraghi, will also enchant you with its Caribbean seas, of crystalline and blue water.

Tuscany, with its treasures to visit in the typical cities and villages, will be the most convenient base to reach from northern Europe, and the island of Elba will be the centre of your sailing holiday.

Aeolian (Sicily)

Italy
The Aeolian archipelago is located in the north of Sicily, and is composed of 7 islands, all characterized by a distinct personality but with a single indistinguishable origin: the typically volcanic one that makes them in different forms, all conical, and with often rapidly degrading backdrops and deep.

Lipari, the island with the greatest extent and geographic centrality, represents the fulcrum of the archipelago; restaurants, shops, clubs, very vital during the evening, and very receptive both as a sparse and as a port. Salina, in the immediate vicinity, offers an accessible port and the famous Pollara harbor (where the well-known film by Massimo Troisi "The postman" was filmed). The closest to the Sicilian coast is Vulcano, which takes its name from the homonymous Vulcano which hosts (can be visited), and which offers the possibility of taking a bath in the thermal waters that directly overlook one of the island's beaches.

Vulcano also has a private marina for pleasure crafts. Panarea, the most VIP island, small and hospitable, with nearby Basiluzzo, and the Lisca Bianca and Lisca Nera rocks

Stromboli, with the always active Volcano, 900 meters high (visitable with a guide) called "IDDU ", and with its unmistakable black beaches.

The more remote Filicudi and Alicudi, the first with a double slope, both tourist-attractive, and the wilder and almost uninhabited Alicudi, perfectly conical and less receptive for the very deep and steep backdrops.

From the climatic point of view, the Aeolian Islands are the islands that offer the highest temperatures, on average, and generally good weather conditions, in the months from April to October, for a decidedly large seasonal period; The hospitality of the Aeolian people, combined with its climatic characteristics and geographical position, make them very attractive for pleasure boating, even in the months that are not purely summer.

North Sardinia (Sardinia)

Italy
Yacht charter North Sardinia Catamaran Charter North Sardinia Rent a sailing or motor boat departing from Northern Sardinia, and sail Sardinia freely. Choose the model, the date and proceed with the boat rental without or with skipper, motor yacht and catamarans. Sardinia in all its circumnavigation offers interesting sailing areas, but Northern Sardinia, including the area called Costa Smeralda, the major islands, and southern Corsica, with the smaller islands, represents the so-called "Sailor's Paradise": An archipelago of islands, islets, spas, shelters, excellent seabed, breeze wind decided during the day for sailing, excellent local hospitality; North Sardinia is an indispensable destination for the sailor, the navigator, the sailor, and the pleasure boater, and it is also a destination to be repeated several times, being the area large and receptive from every point of view. The sea is typically turquoise, thanks to the white sands and the seabed with the right draft, and it is for this reason that the areas of Northern Sardinia are also called "The Caribbean of Italy".

The preferred departure bases are the ports in the area, the main ones of which are: Cala dei Sardi, near Olbia, in the heart of the Costa Smeralda, Marina di Portisco, Olbia itself, for some boats, and Cannigione. In the area there are many other ports where you can stop during your navigation.

Charteritaly recommends a stop on the island of Maddalena, a typical and hospitable center, in the heart of the archipelago, and a stop in the Cala G. Marino bay, an amazing bay inside a area between the 3 islands Razzoli, Budelli and Santa Maria. A daytime bath and anchorage in the well-known Cala Corsara, on the island of Spargi, and a visit to Lavezzi, paying attention to the seabed, some with limited draft.
